Euro 2024: Europe's Elite Football Tournament

Euro 2024 is upon us as the best teams in Europe square off to determine who will be crowned kings of the continent. With Italy as the reigning champions, nations like England, France, Spain, and Portugal are vying for the title, each hoping to leave their mark on this prestigious tournament. Hosts Germany, always a formidable opponent, cannot be counted out either.

The tournament kicked off on June 14, culminating in the final on July 14. Across various venues in Germany, many of the world's top players will be showcasing their talents, including France's Kylian Mbappe and England's Jude Bellingham. Even smaller nations like Georgia and Albania are eager to spring some surprises on the bigger football powers. Of the 24 teams that entered the group stage, 16 will advance to the knockout stages, ensuring a highly competitive atmosphere.

Venues

A total of 24 teams will compete across 10 German cities in the 17th edition of the competition. The venues have been renamed by UEFA specifically for this event, reflecting the grandeur and importance of Euro 2024.

Up until the Round of 16, matches will be held at Arena AufSchalke, Cologne Stadium, Waldstadion, and Leipzig Stadium. These games will take place at Gelsenkirchen's Veltins-Arena (Schalke 04), Cologne's RheinEnergieStadion (FC Köln), Frankfurt's Deutsche Bank Park (Eintracht Frankfurt), and Leipzig's Red Bull Arena (RB Leipzig).

Stuttgart Arena, Volksparkstadion, and Düsseldorf Arena will host games up until the quarterfinals. These matches will be played at Stuttgart's MHPArena (VfB Stuttgart), Hamburg's Volksparkstadion (Hamburger SV), and Düsseldorf's Merkur Spiel-Arena (Fortuna Düsseldorf).

For the semifinals, Fußball Arena München and BVB Stadion Dortmund take center stage. These games will be hosted at Munich's Allianz Arena (Bayern Munich) and Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park (Borussia Dortmund).

The grand finale will be held at Berlin's Olympiastadion, providing a fitting backdrop for the culmination of this remarkable event.
